Let me start by referencing these quotes from Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi and Haille Gabrielle Selassie.

“The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people.” — Dr Martin Luther King Jr

Silence becomes cowardice when occasion demands speaking out the whole truth and acting accordingly.”

Banigo 5: Still in captivity two days short of four months.

“Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph.” — Haile Selassie

For me, the silence and inactions of the people, government and various authorities of Bonny kingdom is not just heartbreaking but killing every aspect of economic life, freedom and heritage as a people.

It is even disheartening that Bonny has no vibrant, proactive socio-political, economic and cultural ethnic nationality organization to speak on her behalf. All we have are pockets of groups fighting themselves to gain control of crumbs locally.

As a people we need to wake up, we need to chart our cause, more especially haven taken cognizance of the fact that government doesn’t care a hoot about Bonny people.

We must grow above in fighting, divisible tendencies, impunity and selfishness greed etc, and work together with one another no matter our differences but in the interest of our dear kingdom.

It is obvious we are surrounded by enemy communities, we are obviously not loved by government, and we are victims of jealous as a result of what God and nature has bestowed on us geographically.

Even if they wish the worst for Bonny people, we must not wish the worst for ourselves. This is the time unite and take action to liberate our kingdom, the people and posterity.

My Thoughts Though.
