High Chief Peter Onajite Esievo, who is the Ugherughe 1 of Agboh Kingdom in Delta State, highlighted women’s prowess as efficient managers and indispensable contributors to workplace integrity and best practices in the business environment.

Emphasizing the invaluable role women play in various workplaces, the Evomec CEO underscored the significance of respecting and empowering women to foster a more progressive society.

He cited examples of women who have continued to deliver impactful leadership in various roles they were conferred with by society, noting that this was an illustration of the positive influence women hold in leadership positions.

“Women should be celebrated to encourage them to do more. These women are efficient managers, you may never know until you give them the opportunity to manage your assets.”

“I’ve worked closely with different women and I’m proud to say they should be encouraged to ensure a society that progresses.”

“By the way, women don’t play with their roles, they give it their best, just like we have various women perform in diverse roles. Do not underrate the roles of women.”

Evomec Global Services Limited under the leadership of High Chief Peter Esievo has actively promoted gender diversity in its operations, providing numerous women with opportunities to gain experience in Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and Administration, amongst others.

The past years has seen a sustained commitment to empowering women which is evident in the substantial representation of women in a traditionally male-dominated industry.

The International Women’s Day is set aside to recognise and celebrate women globally, in order to drive gender parity. This year’s theme is “Inspire the Inclusion”.
