The Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Dame Anengi Claude-Wilcox, and the member representing Bonny Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Victor Oko-Jumbo, will be among dignitaries expected at a Thanksgiving Service in honour of the electoral and Supreme Court victory of Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

A press release signed by the Chairman of the publicity Subcommittee, Boma Waribor informed that the thanksgiving service which is organized by a political group known as Simplified Movement will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Industrial Unit Field, Bonny by 9am.

The event, which is billed to feature songs of praises, hymnal renditions and brief exhortation, will have the leaders of the Simplified Movement at the State level in attendance.

Other dignitaries expected at the event are the State Commissioner for Sports, Christopher Green, as well as the Managing Director of the Rivers State Signage and Advertising Agency (RISAA), Aye Pepple, amongst others.

The Simplified Movement, according to the statement, invites all residents and peace lovers in Bonny to come out en mass with their dancing shoes, asserting that “God deserves all the glory”.
