Youths of Arugbana-Ama Community in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State are calling on visitors to Bonny Island to share in the fun, conviviality and hospitality of their home this Yuletide.
Leader of Arugbana-Ama Youth Association (AYA), Agbalafagha Jumbo made this call on Thursday, 27 November 2025 when he led his executive and the planning committee for the Arugbana-Ama Praise Night and Arugbana-Ama London Party on a courtesy visit to Kristina Reports office in Bonny, Rivers State.

He stated that the two events being organized by the youths aims at creating memories, bonding opportunities and shared happiness during the Yuletide season.
“We are looking at how we can create memories, unleash happiness, bringing Arugbana-Ama sons and daughters back to the community to get engaged and to be together with their brothers.”
He stated that “Arugbana-Ama is a community known for its hospitality and is informally called ‘Agbalama London’ from one of its popular cultural displays that is known as Arungu, which remains the pride of the community”.
“We are calling on all Arugbana-Ama sons and daughters in Bonny and far away to attend this event.”
“Luckily the Federal Government has provided us a road from Bodo to Bonny; so, it’s easy for people to drive in from Port Harcourt down to Bonny.”
“We are encouraging all Arugbana-Ama sons and daughters to start coming to the village, get engaged in community activities and use this as an opportunity to come and meet their brothers and sisters.”
He expressed the gratitude of the youths to the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Community, Gospel Jumbo, George Jumbo and Benjamin Jumbo “for their amazing efforts in promoting the community, their efforts in stabilizing the community and bringing everyone together”.
He explained that it was in line with this disposition that the AYA is seeking the partnership of Kristina Reports to give visibility to both events and to the community, assuring that the relevant security agencies have been contacted to assure security of lives and properties before, during and after the events.

“We are here today to seek partnership and collaboration with Kristina Reports for media visibility and the promotion of our community and our upcoming events.”
Speaking more on the partnership with Kristina Reports, Chairman of the Planning Committee for the Arugbana-Ama Praise Night and Arugbana-Ama London Party, Queeneth Jumbo expressed her gratitude to Kristina Reports for giving the association an audience and being open to collaboration.

“First of all, I want to say thank you to Kristina Reports for giving us this privilege to be here today. Kristina Reports has been one of the major media houses in Bonny helping to promote the community as a whole.”
“The party is slated for two days. One is on the 31st of December 2025, which is the Arugbana-Ama Praise Night, and the second one is on the 3rd of January 2026, which is the Arugbana-Ama London Party, and in collaboration with Just Jollof Games.”
“There’s a lot of games to create memories, as the team says, create memories and unleash happiness. So, it’s Just Jollof Games part of it. So, we also want people to come to reconnect, to network, and in general have fun.”
“So, with Kristina Reports partnering with us, I’m sure we’ll have a successful event and great partner. Thank you so much.”
In response to the Association’s request, the Chief Executive Officer of Kristina Reports, Godswill Jumbo, welcomed the team as he commended their efforts in promoting culture and value of the community.
He assured that the needed visibility for the events will be provided by the organization, urging viewers and the general public to follow Kristina Reports on all platforms.
He said this would ensure that they stay abreast with what is happening not just in the Arugbana-Ama community events but with other events that are happening around them.
