Taofeek Ismaheel has enjoyed a breakthrough season in Poland after playing a key role in Lech Poznań’s dramatic 2025/2026 Ekstraklasa triumph.

The Nigerian winger was part of a squad that sealed the league title with a 3-1 away win over Radomiak Radom, confirming a historic campaign for the club and its supporters.

Taofeek Ismaheel arrived at Lech Poznań on a season-long loan from Górnik Zabrze, brought in to add pace, creativity, and depth under coach Niels Frederiksen.

His impact quickly became clear in a demanding season that stretched across domestic and European competitions.

The winger contributed valuable attacking moments throughout the campaign, including a standout long-range goal in a 4-1 win over Termalica Nieciecza that helped push Lech to the top of the table at a crucial stage.

In Europe, Ismaheel also delivered key performances in the UEFA Europa Conference League, registering goals and assists against Rapid Wien and KuPS.

Born in Lagos, Taofeek Ismaheel began his football journey at Hype Buzz Academy in Abuja before moving to Europe in 2019.

He went on to play in Norway with Skeid, Fredrikstad, and Vålerenga, later featuring for FC Lorient in France and SK Beveren in Belgium.

Before joining Lech Poznań, he impressed at Górnik Zabrze with three goals and four assists, which earned him the move that has now delivered silverware at the highest level in Poland.

With Lech Poznań preparing for UEFA Champions League qualifiers in the 2026/2027 season, attention now turns to Ismaheel’s future.
