André Onana speaks on playing at the Theatre of Dreams

After months of speculation, Manchester United finally unveiled Andre Onana on Thursday, 20 July 2023, as the new man between the sticks for the Club, replacing David De Gea.
Andre Onana took to socials on Friday, to acknowledge that the “Theatre of Dreams” is undoubtedly a theatre of dreams.


” I left Cameroon in search of my dreams. Resilience, fortitude & courage. These values have helped me to get this far.
“The road hasn’t been easy. It is clear to me that there is no better place to keep dreaming than in the Theatre of Dreams.
Glory, glory Man United.”
Andre Onana joined Manchester United on a contract running until June 2028, with the option to extend by a year.
The Cameroonian goalkeeper has kept 104 clean sheets in 255 club appearances and has won three league titles and two KNVB Cups with Ajax before joining Inter in 2022 where he won the Coppa Italia and recorded the most clean sheets in the Champions League, last season.
