In a tense, edge-of-your-seat grand finale, the boys from Ward 8 dug deep to edge out Ward 4 with a thrilling 2–1 victory, lifting the coveted trophy alongside a cool ₦5 million grand prize.

Addressing the roaring crowd after the final whistle, the Executive Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Amasenibo Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple, DSSRS, JP, had even bigger news for football lovers.
