Over in the USL Gainbridge Super League, Onyeka Gamero registered her first professional goal to spark Dallas Trinity FC’s 3-0 win against Brooklyn FC at the Cotton Bowl.
After striking the woodwork just three minutes into the match, Gamero made no mistake in the 8th minute, finishing off a pass from Camryn Lancaster.
Additional goals from Seven Castain and Jasmine Hamid sealed the triumph, marking the club’s first win of the Fall season and the first career coaching victory for head coach Lee Nguyen.
Chinwendu Ihezuo Scores Despite Pachuca Femenil’s Setback in Mexico
In Mexico’s Liga MX Femenil Apertura (Round 6), Chinwendu Ihezuo found the net for Pachuca Femenil, though it was not enough to prevent a 3-1 defeat to Club Tijuana (Xolos) Femenil at Estadio Caliente.
