A Bayelsa State High Court sitting in Yenagoa has issued an order restraining associates of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, from holding a mega rally in the State pending the hearing and determination of a motion on notice.

This is coming on the heels of President Bola Tinubu distancing himself from the proposed rally in his honour in Bayelsa State by jetting off to France purportedly on a two weeks working visit.
