Emmanuel Ayaosi is making it increasingly difficult to ignore his name, and the Nigerian winger delivered another eye-catching display as Slavia Prague secured a convincing home victory over FC Zbrojovka Brno in the Czech First League on Saturday afternoon.
The 21-year-old came off the bench to score and provide an assist as Slavia Prague cruised to a 4-0 victory at the Fortuna Arena.
Emmanuel Ayaosi Continues to Shine for Slavia Prague
Ayaosi may not have started the game, but he certainly made his minutes count. The Nigerian was introduced just four minutes before the half-hour mark, replacing Lukáš Provod, and quickly became a major threat to the visitors.
He went on to score Slavia’s third goal before turning provider for David Jurásek to complete the rout.
His latest contribution comes just days after another impressive showing in the Prague derby, where he scored in Slavia’s emphatic 3-0 victory over Sparta Prague. Ayaosi’s recent run of form has already made him one of the most exciting attacking options in the squad.
With another goal and assist added to his tally, the Nigerian is continuing to make a strong case for more playing time.
His impact has also been particularly impressive considering he has often been introduced from the bench, yet continues to influence games when given the opportunity.
Samuel Isife Also Makes His Presence Felt
Ayaosi was not the only Nigerian who caught the eye.
His compatriot Samuel Isife also produced a solid display for the hosts, contributing to Slavia’s dominance and showing why he remains an important part of the squad.
The 22-year-old defender has continued to develop since joining the Czech champions and has already gained valuable first-team experience in the Czech top flight.
Slavia controlled proceedings from the opening stages, with Tomáš Chorý opening the scoring from the penalty spot in the 38th minute.
Chorý then doubled the advantage after the break, finishing off another Slavia attack as the home side continued to put their opponents under pressure.
The third goal arrived in the 76th minute.
Danijel Šturm split the Zbrojovka defence with a dangerous pass, and Ayaosi showed composure to finish the move and make it 3-0.
The scoring was completed two minutes from full time when David Jurásek found the net, with Ayaosi turning provider to put the finishing touch on another memorable outing.
For Ayaosi, the performance could hardly have come at a better time.
The winger has already scored against Sparta Prague this season, adding to his earlier goal against Baník Ostrava.
His current form is giving Slavia another dangerous attacking option, while also putting his name firmly into the conversation for Nigeria.
With the Super Eagles preparing for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifying assignments, Ayaosi will hope his latest performances are enough to catch the attention of head coach Eric Chelle.
And if he keeps producing moments like these, it may become increasingly difficult to leave Emmanuel Ayaosi out of the conversation.
