The opening ceremony of the 11th edition of the All Africa University Games took place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Six students of Rivers State University (RSU) are present to fly the flag of the institution and the state.

The All Africa University Games, also known as FASU Games, co-hosted by the University of Lagos and Lagos State University, began on Friday, September 20, 2024, with the arrival of delegates and will run until Sunday, September 29, 2024. The prestigious event is competed by students from African Universities, with this year’s event having no fewer than 32 Universities in attendance.
