Hope Rises for Bonny Vehicular Terminal as NLNG Unveils Project Implementer

The long-awaited Bonny Vehicular Terminal (BVT) appears set to take off as the project sponsor, the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG) has revealed that Chairborne Global Services Ltd is the project implementer.
This disclosure was made on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 by the NLNG’s Head of Community Engagements, Ifeanyi Umeh, when he led a delegation comprising officials of his company and Chairborne Global Services Ltd on a courtesy visit to the Bonny Chiefs’ Council at the King Perekule Palace, Bonny, Rivers State.

He explained that the visit was to formally notify the traditional leadership of the contract award and to introduce the construction company, reaffirming the importance of respecting the customs of Bonny Kingdom.
“Having spent 27 years in Bonny and being a traditional man myself, I understand how things should be done. We would not start doing anything in Bonny Kingdom without informing the owners of the land. That is why we are here today.”
According to information sourced from the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) website, Chairborne Global Services Limited registration number: RC 1282255 was registered on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 as an Oil and Gas Services business.
In his remarks, the Chief Operating Officer of Chairborne Global Services Ltd, Adeyemi Adegbenro assured the Chiefs that the company possesses the technical expertise and capacity to deliver the project according to all necessary standards and specifications.

Responding, the Chairman of the Bonny Chiefs Council, Se-Alabo Dagogo Claude-Wilcox, MON, called on Chairborne Global Services Ltd to deploy cutting-edge technology and uphold the highest construction standards to ensure high quality work as well as timely completion of the project.
He expressed optimism that the work would move forward expeditiously, emphasizing the need for continuous engagement with the people of Bonny Kingdom throughout the period of the project’s execution.
