International Youth Day: Prioritizing Youth Development Remains Our Corporate Focus – Evomec

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Evomec Global Services Limited (EGSL), High Chief Peter Esievo has hailed youths worldwide as they celebrate the International Youth Day 2024, his organization will sustain its prioritization youth development in policy contemplation.

High Chief Esievo came out with this on Monday, August 12, 2024 in congratulatory message to youths he personally signed and exclusively available to Kristina Reports in Bonny, Rivers State.

He stated that having youths as the centrestage of Evomec’s corporate policy thrust remains the consideration for his company’s support for initiatives aimed at youth development, saying the interest of youths will continue to be the focus.

The celebrated business mogul praised the creativity, resilience, passionate and indomitable spirit of Nigerian youths, noting that the country was transitioning in the direction of progress and development due to their innovation, initiatives and undying patriotism.

“At Evomec, we prioritize the youths; this can be noticed in the high population of our workforce. The youths remain our focus and we will continue to support initiatives aimed at youth development.”

“We have over the years supported educational programmes, sports competitions, and other human capital development efforts, all of these focused at ensuring that youths in our operational environments learn, grow and become more as they move along in life.”

High Chief Esievo averred that education remains the bedrock of national development and securing the future for the youths and as such will remain EGSL’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) objective, noting students of various educational institutions have benefitted from the company’s interventions.

“Our company has ensured that students from different schools benefit from our scholarships, donation of educational materials, among others key interventions. Gestures like these will remain our corporate social responsibility objective as we are convinced that education remains the bedrock of nation building.”    

Evomec Global Services Limited (EGSL) was a major sponsor of the Amanyanabo Football Tournament which ash seen the discovery of several talents from among the youths of Bonny Kingdom.

The company has also at different times sponsored initiatives by the Bonny Youth Federation (BYF) aimed at capacity building for youths of the area. These are among several other gestures supported by the company.
