Ishileogono Community Congratulates Chairman, Vice, Legislative Leader, Councillors on Electoral Victory

Ishileogono Community has extended warm congratulations to the newly elected Chairman, Vice Chairman, Leader of the Bonny Legislative Assembly, and Councillors in Bonny Local Government Area following their successful electoral victory.

In his Congratulatory Message on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, the Amadabo of Ishileogono, Soimi Kaladappa emphasized the significance of this victory, calling it a resounding expression of the people’s faith in the new leadership.

Anengi Claude-Wilcox, Omoni Longjohn, Erefa Allaputa, and 11 others, were elected Chairman, Vice Chairman, Leader and members of the Bonny Legislative Assembly, respectively.

Claude-Wilcox administered the oath of office and oath of allegiance to her Vice, Leader and members of the Legislative Assembly, as well members of her cabinet on Monday, October 7, 2024, at the Government Lodge, Bonny.

She was earlier sworn-in as Executive Chairman of Bonny LGA, alongside 22 other LGA Chairmen on Sunday, October 6, 2024 by the State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara in Government House, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

“On behalf of the Ishileogono Community, I wish to congratulate our dear Executive Chairman, Dame Alabota Hon. Anengi Barasua Claude-Wilcox, DSSRS, JP, our Vice Chairman, Wariopusenibo Hon. Omoni Longjohn, Leader of Bonny Legislative Assembly, Rt. Hon. Erefa Allaputa, and our distinguished Councillors on your victory at the Polls.

“Your victory in the election reflects the trust and hope the Community has placed in their leaders to guide Bonny LGA towards a new phase of progress and development.”

Kaladappa further expressed his strong belief in the leadership capacity of the newly elected Chairman, reminiscing on her previous accomplishments, affirming that the administration will undoubtedly continue to build on these antecedents, fulfilling the promises made to the people of Bonny LGA.

“We trust in your ability to deliver effective governance that will positively impact every corner of our community,” Kaladappa stated.

Kaladappa also reaffirmed the community’s readiness to support the administration in any way necessary to achieve the common goals of unity, progress, and development for Bonny LGA.
