Kemi Adetiba Teases Fans with King of Boys 3 Release on Christmas Day

Renowned Nollywood director Kemi Adetiba has thrilled fans with the announcement of the third installment in the King of Boys series, set for release on December 25, 2025.
The exciting reveal came as she celebrated her birthday, with Adetiba sharing the news on Instagram.
“KOB Army…. ARISE!!! It’s time…. We MOOOOOOOVE. Signed: Your General.”

The upcoming feature-length, tagged The Beginning of the End, promises to introduce new characters while retaining fan-favorites from previous films.
Known for its gripping plot and stellar performances, the King of Boys franchise revolves around Alhaja Eniola Salami, a powerful businesswoman entangled in a high-stakes power struggle.
The first film debuted in 2018, followed by its sequel, King of Boys: The Return of the King, which premiered on Netflix in 2021.
Sola Sobowale’s portrayal of Eniola Salami, alongside stars like Nse Ikpe-Etim, Jide Kosoko, Adesua Etomi, and Richard Mofe-Damijo, cemented the franchise’s iconic status.
Adetiba began pre-production for the third installment in early 2023 while also teasing other projects such as To Kill A Monkey and Welcome to the Fourth.
Kemi Adetiba’s journey in entertainment has been remarkable, transitioning from her early days as a Rhythm 93.7 FM presenter to becoming a filmmaker with global recognition.
Her first feature film, The Wedding Party, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2016, opening doors to a celebrated career.
With King of Boys 3 hitting cinemas this Detty December, fans are eagerly gearing up for another masterpiece from one of Nollywood’s finest storytellers.
