The Mayor of Housing, My-ACE China, says resilience has become the hallmark of journalism practice in Nigeria, especially in Rivers State.
China, who is the CEO of the Housing and Construction Mayor Limited, made this known in his goodwill message to the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), the body of Journalists in Nigeria.

The Mayor of Housing regarded as a Real Estate success strategist said Journalists in Rivers State have held their ground in the endless political crises that have creates onslaughts and pressures against the media in the State.
He said this has tended to make the state known more for negative than positive news.
The Mayor of Housing, who recently bagged award in the Africa Legends Award series, however, reminded Journalists in the State on the need for emphasis on the Press shaping the outside perception narrative of Rivers State through positive reportage which he said is stronger than reality, saying this is what attracts investors.
He urged them to reflect on the theme of the World Press Freedom Day and emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI) but assured of his support in many ways in the coming weeks.
He urged media practitioners to continue to focus on what positively unites Rivers State than what negatively divides it.
China has been consistent in preaching peace in Rivers State for the sake of investments, and has urged media practitioners to help rebuild the image and reputation of Port Harcourt as an investment destination instead of hotbed of political crisis.
