NNPP Vice Chairmanship Candidate Congratulates LG Chairman, Others, Declares Loyalty to Fubara Led Rivers Government

The Vice Chairmanship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) for Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State in the just concluded local government elections, Kele Kabaka-Momoh has congratulated the newly inaugurated Chairman, Anengi Claude-Wilcox, her Vice, Omoni Longjohn, and the 12 Councillors in the area.

She equally dissociated herself from threats of litigation by the chairmansship candidate of her party, expressing her displeasure over a viral post, disassociating herself from some viral posts on social media, saying she remains committed to democratic ideals as exemplified in last Saturday’s election.

In a telephone interview with Kristina Reports, on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, Kabaka-Momoh felicitated with winners in the just concluded local government elections, describing the elections as peaceful, affirming that “this is one election with no record of death”.

Kabaka-Momoh also expressed her loyalty and support to the Governor Fubara’s led administration in the State, reaffirming her profound commitment to her community, asserting that Bonny remains a peace loving community.

“I want to congratulate everybody around for this election especially my ward Finima. It was a peaceful one. You know Finima people like enjoyment. In short after the elections, we sat to eat and drink together.”

“I’m simplified, despite that I ran on a different party, I’m simplified, I support the Governor, and I’m standing with the Governor’s decision.”

The NNPP candidate said she remains oblivious of what is happening, stressing that “I am not in anyway associated with that blog, and the good thing is my community people knew me and they said I was not a part of it”.

She stated that she was disappointed with the attitude of her party’s LG chairmanship candidate, while disassociating herself from whatever runs he’s making.

“I’m not a part of the court movement my chairman is making. I’m not involved, and I disassociate myself from that caricature. Maybe he has money to go and waste.

“For over a week to the election, me and my chairman didn’t speak, so I disassociate myself from whatever disco he’s playing.”
