NUJ Lauds Monarch For Visionary Transformation in Bonny At Diamond Jubilee

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Rivers State Council has sent warm congratulations to the Amanyanabo and Natural Ruler of Grand Bonny Kingdom, His Majesty, King Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple III, CON, DSSRS, JP, Natural Ruler on the occassion of his 60th birthday celebration.

In a goodwill message jointly signed by the Chairman of NUJ, Paul Bazia, and Secretary of NUJ, Ijeoma Tubosia on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the NUJ appreciated the king for his well thought out leadership strategies, saying that the resultant effects are very eloquent and visible.

“Your vision for the transformation of Bonny Kingdom has brought an enduring peace, and general development.”

The Council maintained that the entire kingdom has so many reasons to celebrate the Monarch, asserting that his selflessness upon his Ascension of the royal stool has brought about Progress and a success story.

The Council also eulogized the king for commanding respect and becoming a source of inspiration to devotion and selflessness.

“As you mark this 60th birthday, may your throne be adorned with the finest silk, your crown with the most precious jewels and your scepter with the purest gold.”
