Ooni of Ife, Se-Alabo Dan-Jumbo, Others Grace Business Mogul, Dr Fubara Dan-Jumbo’s Golden Jubilee Birthday

It was all glitz and glamour, exquisite cuisine and royal camaraderie as business mogul, Dr. Fubara Dan-Jumbo, FNSE celebrated his 50th birthday in Nigeria’s commercial capital, Lagos.

Among the distinguished guests who graced the occasion were the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, CFR, Chief and Head of Dan-Jumbo and Christy-Wilcox Chieftaincy Houses of Grand Bonny Kingdom, Se-Alabo Clinton Ibiwari Gibson Dan-Jumbo, Jene IV, and Se-Alabo Golden Christy-Wilcox, respectively, and a former member of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Abinye Pepple.

Others were the Founder, Osaide Foundation for Girls in Science and Engineering; Dr. Patricia Nekpen Opene-Odili, Head of Department, Mathematics, University of Lagos; Professor Israel Abiala, Head of Department, Geoscience, University of Lagos; Professor Lukumon Adeoti, Chief Executive Officer, Propetrol Limited; Harry Ebohon, Osasogie Ekwem, Mrs. Ngozi Egbeinyon.

The celebrant, who is also the founder and President of the Gibson Dan-Jumbo Foundation, also used the occasion of his 50th birthday to launch two books jointly authored by him and his longtime friend and associate, Dr. Nathaniel Longjohn, “Make Yourself A Mathematician” and “Make Yourself A Physicist”.

The books, according to its reviewers, provides detailed step-by-step guide on how to understand the fundamental principles of Mathematics, how to apply them in solving complex mathematical problems, and to also prepare the readers for Mathematics examinations at the secondary school level.

The day was also used to celebrate the celebrant’s mother, Mrs. Gift Dan-Jumbo, who clocked 75 years same day with her son.

The celebrant, Dr. Fubara Gibson Dan-Jumbo, alongside his wife, Mrs. Blessing Fubara Dan-Jumbo, and children, thanked his visitors for making out time out of their busy schedules to celebrate with him and his mother on their special day.

Guests were treated to good music, sumptuous and tasty cuisines and a welcoming ambience during the delectable event.
