Ghanaian Afrobeats singer PBee has arrived in Nigeria to promote his latest single, “Lose My Mind,” featuring SIICIE, as he seeks to expand his audience beyond Ghana.
The Nigerian visit, reported on Thursday, September 24, 2026, forms part of PBee’s effort to introduce the romantic Afrobeats record to Nigerian listeners and strengthen connections within the country’s entertainment industry.

Born Michael Frimpong in Kumasi, Ghana’s Ashanti Region, PBee is signed to Grind Don’t Stop Records and has been building attention around his melodic approach to contemporary Afrobeats.
“Lose My Mind” was released on Thursday, September 10, 2026, and centres on affection, emotional vulnerability and the reassurance found in a close relationship.
The song combines Ghanaian-English and Twi with contemporary Afrobeats production, giving the record a distinctly Ghanaian identity while maintaining a sound aimed at a wider West African audience.

Its central refrain, “When I lose my mind, oh my baby sumo mi,” reflects the song’s theme of turning to a loved one for emotional reassurance during uncertain moments.
PBee’s Nigerian media run comes as he seeks to move his music beyond the Ghanaian market and connect with listeners in one of Africa’s most influential Afrobeats territories.
His music journey gained wider attention following his debut single, “Space,” after a freestyle video connected to the song attracted significant attention on social media.
He subsequently expanded his catalogue with songs including “BAD,” featuring Camidoh, while continuing to develop a sound built around melodic songwriting and contemporary Afropop influences.
The Nigerian visit is therefore being positioned as more than a single-song promotion, with PBee seeking to establish relationships, reach new listeners and create opportunities within the wider African music industry.
“Lose My Mind” adds another chapter to the singer’s effort to build a regional audience while retaining elements of his Ghanaian musical identity.
As PBee continues his Nigerian promotion, the record provides an avenue for the emerging singer to introduce his music to audiences outside his home market and strengthen his presence within the wider West African Afrobeats community.
