Willie-Pepple Felicitates Bonny LG Chairman at 48; Extols His Transformative Leadership

As the Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Amasenibo Abinye Blessing Pepple, DSSRS, turns 48 years today, his Senior Special Advisor on Marine and Blue Economy, Hon. Ibifubara Willie-Pepple, has felicitated on the auspicious occasion of his birthday anniversary.

In a statement on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 which he personally signed and made exclusively available to Kristina Reports, Hon. Willie-Pepple stated that Amasenibo Pepple has shown uncommon devotion to the welfare and progress of Bonny people.

He stated that his boss has “taken bold steps in identifying the potentials of the maritime environment around Bonny LGA”.

My Chairman’s deliberate push to maximise the benefits of the Blue Economy has placed Bonny ahead in terms of sustainable development.”

He referenced the recent drive of the Bonny LGA Numero Uno in pursuit of the temporary opening of the Bodo-Bonny Road as a sign of his passion for the people.

He noted the Chairman’s unprecedented visit to the Minister of Works where he pressed for faster infrastructural action for Bonny, pointing out that the recent Town Hall Meeting convened by the Chairman as proof of his openness and engagement with the people.

“The Chairman has continued to show a rare commitment to lifting Bonny higher,” he said.

Hon. Willie-Pepple also hailed the scholarship scheme that supported over 1,000 students of Bonny origin in various tertiary institutions across the country with each of them receiving N100,000, totalling N100million.

While observing that the gesture stands out as one of the biggest educational interventions in the area, the Senior Special Advisor on Marine and Blue Economy assured Bonny people that Amasenibo Abinye Blessing Pepple, DSSRS has the ability to deliver even greater results for the LGA.

He did not fail to commend the Bonny LGA Chairman for his loyalty and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while also praising his loyalty to their political leader and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, Chief Nyesom Wike, describing it as strategic for the growth of Bonny.

He prayed for more wisdom and strength for the Chairman as he continues to lead Bonny forward.
