Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has found herself in the middle of a heated disagreement with a cab driver, Frances Njoku, who has threatened legal action against her following a package delivery mishap.

The incident began on September 18, 2024, when Ade took to Instagram to publicly accuse Njoku of disappearing with her package and ignoring her attempts to reach him.

The actress called out both Njoku and the ride-hailing platform, In-drive, which she used to book the ride, attracting attention from her followers who joined in demanding accountability.

Later that night, Ade updated her followers, revealing that Njoku had returned the package after the platform locked his profile.

However, the story did not end there.

On September 19, Ade shared more details of the situation, posting screenshots of her exchanges with Njoku and her fashion designer, who had sent the package.

In the messages, Njoku expressed frustration, accusing the actress of damaging his reputation and vowing to take legal action.

“You have made nonsense of my image and I have contacted my legal team and we’ll see you in court,” Njoku wrote in one of the messages.

“You are not the person who requested the ride.”

“Many human rights activists and lawyers have called me and think I won’t let it go that way.”

” You must render an unreserved apology and ask Instablog to pull the post down.”

In response, Ade was undeterred, standing her ground and daring Njoku to follow through with his legal threats.

“Francis Njoku, I am about that life! I want all the smoke.”

” I wait on your human rights activists letter or Law suit!” she fired back.”

As tensions escalate, it remains to be seen whether the dispute will be settled privately or in court.
