The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has declared erstwhile Chief Security Officer and Chief of Staff to the Administrator of Ahoada-East Local Government Area, Hector Ekakita, and Aloni Olodi, respectively, wanted for criminal conspiracy, stealing, assault, occasioning harm, and attempted murder in connection with the violent attack on their boss, Goodluck Iheanachor.

The assault on the Ahoada-East LGA Administrator, which occurred on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the LG Council Secretariat in Ahoada, Rivers State, sparked an uproar.

Public Relations Officer of Rivers State Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko announced this on Sunday, July 6, 2025, via a statement in Port Harcourt.

The State Police Command maintained that, despite a prior public notice and formal invitation to the suspects to report to the Police State Headquarters for questioning, they blatantly ignored the directives.

“Following their failure to honour Police invitation, the State Commissioner of Police, Olugenga Adepoju has now declared the aforementioned persons wanted.”

“They are hereby advised, in their own interest, to report to the State Police Headquarters, Moscow Road, Port Harcourt, immediately.”

It could be recalled that the above suspects, alongside a gang of about thirty persons, are alleged to have conspired to assault the Administrator, inflicted bodily harm on him, and forcefully obtained his signature under duress.

They also allegedly stole his mobile phones and vital documents, and carted away both personal and official properties from his office.

The Ahoada-East LGA Administrator is reportedly still receiving medical attention due to the injuries sustained during the attack.

The Police warns that anyone found aiding, hiding, or assisting the wanted individuals to evade arrest will face the full weight of the law.

The statement urged anyone with credible information on the whereabouts of these individuals to contact the State Police Headquarters along Moscow Road, Port Harcourt, or call any of the following numbers; 08120822987, 07057605209, 08098880134, 09014273818 and 08098880134.
