Andoni, a Safe Haven for Investors, LG Chairman, Others Task FG, Investors at Ikuru Town Beach Party

Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State is safe for tourism and investment, Chairman of the LGA, Erastus Awortu, PhD has said, with a call on the Federal Government and investors globally to come and invest in the area.
Awortu made the call on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Ikuru Town Atlantic Beach Carnival held at Ikuru Town in Rivers State.

Enumerating the numerous potentials of Andoni LGA, the LG Council Chairman stated that attracting foreign direct investments into the area would assuage the economic hardships being faced by indigenes and residents.
He asserted his administration was emplacing the necessary stimulants such as security and ease of doing business frameworks to ensure that would-be investors do not face challenges when they come.
The Andoni LGA Chairman lauded the people’s resilience and commitment to maintaining the existing peace in the area, noting that investors can only invest in a peaceful environment.
Also speaking, a former Commissioner for Works in Rivers State, Sampson Ngerebara lauded the efforts of the LG Council Chairman in maintaining peace in the area, urging the state and federal governments to come and invest in the rich heritage of the local government Area.
He enjoined all sons and daughters of Obolo Land to join hands with the Awortu led Local Government Council to scale up the development of the area.
Checks by Kristina Reports indicate that aside having the Director General of the Rivers State Tourism Development Agency, Yibo Koko on ground, over 10,000 fun seekers, amongst whom were 341 tourists attended the carnival.
