Bonny-Born Energy Expert, Patricia Simon-Hart to Speak at 9th Sub-Saharan Africa International Confab

Energy expert, Patricia Simon-Hart will join other distinguished speakers at the 9th Sub-Saharan Africa International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference 2025.
A statement by the organizers on Thursday, February 7, 2025 announced the speaking role of Ms. Simon-Hart, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Aftrac Limited, Co-Founder, Women In Energy Network (WIEN), and Board Member, Aradel Holdings PLC.

Patricia Simon-Hart, who hails from Bonny in Rivers State, and served as a former Commissioner for Water Resources in the State, will be joined by another Rivers State born energy guru, Dr Amaijaan Ikuru, who is currently the Director, Corporate Services at the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).
Other speakers at the conference include General Managers, Production, and External Relations and Sustainable Development, Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG); Nnamdi Anowi and Dr Sophia Horsfall, Contract and Procurement Manager, Production, Logistics, Maintenance and Materials Management, Shell; Chioma Okpoechi, Executive Vice President, Gas and Power, Nigerian National Company Limited (NNPCL); Olalekan Ogunleye, President, Women In Energy Network (WIEN); Eyono Fatayi-Williams, Managing Director/Chief Executive, Aradel Holdings PLC; Gbite Falade, and Director, Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate, Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB); Abdulmalik Halilu.
Others are the Managing Director/Chief Executive, TotalEnergies EP Nigeria Limited; Mr Matthieu Bouyer, Head, Offshore Evaluation Division, National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines (ONHYM), Kingdom of Morocco; Madam. Didi Salwa, Chief Executive Officer, Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC); Proscova Nabbanja, Director, Technical Services Support, Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU), Republic of Uganda; Peninah Aheebwa, and the Deputy Director of Studies and Regulation, General Director of Hydrocarbons, République de Côte d’Ivoire; Dja Bi Dja Anicet Habib.







The 9th Sub-Saharan Africa International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (SAIPEC) 2025 will hold from Tuesday to Thursday, February 11 to 13 at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos, Nigeria.
Reacting to the opportunity of the speaking engagement, the Aftrac Limited CEO expressed her optimism to share her insights on diversity, leadership and innovation in Africa’s oil and gas sector.
