The central discussion would, however, centre on the role of the Old Boys Association in uplifting the infrastructural and academic profile of the revered institution.

Furthermore, the quarterly Congress would afford the Old Boys the opportunity to appraise the various measures highlighted during the very successful national convention of the association held in November last year.

The association urged all Old Boys of the institution to turn out enmasse for the Congress, which commences by 3pm on Sunday.

It would be recalled that County Grammar School, Ikwerre-Etche, established in 1957, has produced high-quality manpower in every sector of endeavour who has contributed to the development of the State and nation.

The Old Boys Association, which hosted its very first national convention last year, has continued to contribute immensely to the infrastructural development of the school, which was adjudged the best public school in Nigeria by the Federal Government in 2007.
