Divine-Treasure Hart, Other Bonny Kids Shine at Spelling Bee Contest

Kid prodigy, Divine-Treasure Hart led other children from Bonny Local Government Area as they put up an awesome performance at the just concluded St. John’s Spelling Bee Competition 2025.
Hart emerged winner in the senior primary category during the contest, which took place in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, and ended on Thursday, June 19, 2025.

With this significant feat accomplished by the six children, all pupils of Tamvina International School, Bonny, they will now represent Rivers State in the national competition in Abuja come August 2025.
In the Early Spellers (Primary 1-2) category, Divine Ettentuk, Eliana Brown and Eden Thompson-Oluji, all in Grade 2, qualified; while in the Upper Primary Spellers, Divine-Treasure Hart, Grade 5, Bliss Banigo, Grade 4, and Ivana Jumbo, Grade 4, respectively, all qualified.

Congratulating the pupils, Divine-Treasure’s father, Emmanuel Hart commended them for their outstanding performance, expressing the hope that they will emerge overall winners in Abuja. So far, Divine-Treasure Hart has sustained her winning streak across various Spelling Bee competitions and stamped her name as an exceptional academic phenomenon worthy of reckoning.
