Starring Uzor Arukwe as Nnamdi, Family Gbese dives into themes of loyalty, family ties, and ambition, highlighting the cultural and social dynamics familiar to many Nigerians.
The story follows Nnamdi as he navigates a pivotal life decision spurred by his mentor’s request, blending humor and emotion to deliver a story both engaging and relatable.
Joining Arukwe on screen are celebrated actors Teniola Aladese, Lillian Afegbai, and Mike Ezuruonye, along with veteran stars Ireti Doyle and Muyiwa Ademola, who bring depth to the film’s portrayal of family life.
This stellar lineup has raised expectations, especially after Inkblot’s last family dramedy, Muri & Ko, garnered over N130 million at the box office in June.
Set for its premiere on November 6, Family Gbese promises to be a fitting capstone to Nollywood’s year, offering audiences a mix of laughter and introspection.
Fans of Nigerian cinema can anticipate a unique and heartfelt film experience when it hits theaters on November 8.
