Former Bonny Council Boss, Hails Governor Fubara on Second Anniversary, Reaffirms Support

As Suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara, marks two years in office, the immediate past Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Anengi Claude-Wilcox, has extended warm congratulations and reaffirmed her unwavering support for his administration.
In a goodwill message made available to Kristina Reports on the anniversary on Thursday May 29, 2025 Anengi Wilcox described Fubara as a “peaceful, compassionate, people-driven and transformative leader,” whose resilience continues to inspire confidence across Rivers State.

“Your Excellency, as we mark the second anniversary of your impactful administration, I commend your resilience and inspiring leadership”.
“Be assured that I remain committed to supporting your efforts, drawing from my experience of closely working with you as a local government chairman.”

The former Bonny council boss expressed strong belief in the governor’s ability to overcome challenges, noting the visible signs of divine backing in his journey so far.
“Given the conspicuous evidence of God’s presence with you, it is certain that you will overcome all obstacles and fully complete your developmental vision for our state”.
She concluded by assuring the Governor that the people of Bonny Local Government Area are firmly behind his administration, standing in solidarity as he continues to deliver on his mandate.
“Congratulations Your Excellency and happy second year anniversary once more,” she added.
Fubara assumed office on May 29, 2023. His tenure has been marked by strides in infrastructure, education, workers’ welfare, and transparent governance.
