Gokana Football Championship 2025‎ Garners Support from a Consortium of Companies

Some major indigenous companies in Ogoniland have indicated their support for the much-anticipated Gokana Football Championship Cup tagged “Rt. Hon. Dumle Maol Gokana Championship Cup 2025”.

The companies, whose owners are associates of Dumle Maol, Deputy Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, include TEDCORP Ltd, CERITON Global Resources, ABDUGANAS Nigeria Ltd, and DREN Logistics Ltd.

Checks by Kristina Reports indicate that these have all been long-time supporters of community sports and youth development in Gokana LGA.

The companies collectively donated a whopping sum of ₦1,150,000 to be used specifically for the “Match of the Matches” to reward an exciting new initiative aimed at celebrating exceptional team performance throughout the tournament.

Speaking on behalf of the group, spokesperson for the companies, Clinton Johnson said the gesture reflects their appreciation for Dumle Maol’s continuous investment in grassroots football, youth empowerment, and human capacity building in the area.

Meanwhile, organizers confirm that the Gokana Championship Cup 2025 will officially kick off on Sunday, November 23, with ₦15 million in total prizes as top community teams set to battle for supremacy.
