NUBS Galvanizes Student Community, Convokes Stakeholders Meeting

In bid to bolster a sense of belonging among the student community at home and in the Diaspora, the National Union of Bonny Students (NUBS) has called for a General National Stakeholders and Life Members Revitalization Meeting.

This was announced via a statement on Tuesday, 29 April 2025 jointly signed by NUBS National President, Secretary General, and Director of Information I, Precious Jumbo, Favour Jumbo, and Tamunoipirinye Tolofari, respectively, and made exclusively available to Kristina Reports in Bonny, Rivers State.

The meeting, which is slated for Sunday, May 18, 2025 by 12noon, would hold at the NUBS National Secretariat along King Asimini Bypass, popularly known as Berger Road in Bonny, Rivers State.

An abridged version of the statement is reproduced below:

“I bring you Aluta greetings Most Distinguished, Highly Revered, Ever Conscious Senior Stakeholders from The National Executive Council (NEC), of The National Union of Bonny Students (NUBS) National Secretariat Worldwide.  

A call for her General National Stakeholders and Life Members Revitalization Meeting on Sunday 17th of May 2025, 12pm prompt at the NUBS National Secretariat, along King Asimini Bypass, aka Berger Road, Bonny, Rivers State.

As part of the steps to make progress the NEC cordially invites all Past National Executives, all Past Chapter Representatives Council members, all Past Chapter Congress Chairpersons, Past Committee Members, Past Appointed Aides and Life Members of NUBS National Secretariat Worldwide to discuss ways of advancing the union’s growth, to drive positive change in NUBS.  

It is very essential and crucial for leaders of the union to come together, understanding the power of unity as a binding force in achieving union’s goals to make good success.  

The National Executive Council (NEC) officially led by Comr. Precious Jumbo Tamunoipiriala, we are keen to forge ahead and deliver results anew for the benefit of Bonny students, fulfilling our sworn duties, we will work tirelessly to ensuring the core values of NUBS are guiding principles for brighter future.   

This very General National Stakeholders Meeting will also serve as a means of reconnection amongst stakeholders and current National executives.  

We’re hoping to see you all in your numbers and have a great, productive and fruitful meeting with you all.”  

The National Union of Bonny Students (NUBS) is the convergence point for all students of Bonny origin across various tertiary institutions worldwide.
