Old Students Congratulate NDDC MD Dr Ogbuku At 50

The Rivers Secondary Schools Old Boys and Girls 1983 Set Association has congratulated the Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku on his 50th birthday.

In a statement signed by the Secretary-General of the Association, Dr. Ibinabo Ogolo, the group described Dr. Ogbuku as a Managing Director with great visionary attributes who, in a few years, has steered the commission to greater heights.

The Association expressed its delight that under the leadership of Dr. Ogbuku, NDDC has become one of the best performing federal agencies in Nigeria, which is a pointer to the dedication, forthrightness, and determination of the MD to make a difference in projects delivery and execution in the Niger Delta.

The group further praised Dr. Ogbuku for contributing to the intellectual discourse of development with his two books titled, ‘ Strategies and Imperative for Developing Niger Delta’ and ‘Rethinking the Niger Delta’ which were unveiled during the 50th birthday celebration in Abuja.

The 1983 Old Boys and Girls Association commended the MD for his landmark project,  ‘Light Up Niger Delta’, which has totally transformed every nook and cranny of the area, boosting security and enhancing social life of the people at night.

The group further wished him many more years of celebration in good health and success in all his endeavours.
