Police Apprehends Man For Allegedly Defiling His Daughters

The Enugu state Police Department has arrested a father who was alleged of defiling his two biological daughters.

The arrest of Ozioma Okonkwo, a native if Imo State who resides in Enugu, took place on Saturday, 25th October, 2025 but was made public by the authorities on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025.

The suspect was arrested for allegedly defiling his two daughters of 5 and 2 years of age after reports from neighbours who paid close attention to the man and his daughters reported the issue to the police.

According to his wife and mother of the two girls, she left left her kids in the care of their father so she could run some errands only for her to come and meet such shame act.

No clue has been revealed on who reported the case to the government and police but the police has assured the public that Ozioma is in their custody .

The state Ministry of Children, Gender Affairs, and Social Development, through a statement have commended the Enugu State government and also the Enugu State Police foe taking swift action in attending to the incident as it was reported.

In a statement resleased, the ministry assured the public of the government’s continuous effort to combat crime and ensure a safe environment for all.

“The Enugu State Government under the leadership of Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, remains unwavering in its commitment to protect every child and ensure that perpetrators of such evil acts are brought to justice.
