RSU Debunks Fake Matriculation Announcement 

The management of Rivers State University Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, has dismissed a social media announcement claiming that the institution’s matriculation ceremony is scheduled for Monday, March 17, 2025. 

In an official statement signed by the Registrar, Ibimonia Harry, the university clarified that the circulating announcement did not originate from the institution. 

“This is therefore a refuttal and to inform students, parents, and the general public that the said announcement is fake.

The Rivers State University will release the actual date for the Matriculation Ceremony at the appropriate time,” the statement read. 

The university urged the public to disregard the false information and await an official announcement regarding the event.
