Victor Boniface Deletes Social Media Post Hinting at National Team Retirement

Victor Boniface has deleted a post on social media that suggested he might retire from the Nigerian national team.
The 24-year-old Super Eagles forward, who has earned 13 caps without scoring for his country, made the announcement following Nigeria’s 1-1 draw against Russia in Moscow, where he again failed to find the net.

In his initial post, he hinted at the possibility of stepping back from international football.
” Proud to play for my country and a dream for me also, really enjoyed every moment the good and the bad thanks a lot, thank you all, I don hang boot 😥 “

The striker who is known for his jovial nature, deleted the post and shared a meme instead.
