WAEP LTD Lends Voice Against Social Vices in Bonny

The West African Exploration and Production Company Limited (WAEP) has admonished students to avoid the consumption of illicit drugs as they represent a danger to their health and wellbeing.

According to reports gathered by Kristina Reports, the visitation which targeted various government schools in Bonny was aimed at curbing illicit drug abuse and cultism through orientations and lectures, as it has become a thing of concern.

In his words, the Area Manager of WAEP, Alessandro Marchesi admonished students not to engage in illicit drugs, maintaining that the dangers of such is death.

” We urge you our students to shun illicit drugs and cultism, as the end is death and such loss will not only be to your parents but to the society at large”.

He also outlined the management’s readiness to partner with relevant authorities in ensuring that Bonny Island is drugs free. ” As a company,we are strongly against social vices, we are built on discipline and human capacity building”, he said.
