The newly promoted ratings at the Nigerian Navy Forward Operating Base Bonny (FOB BONNY), Rivers State have been charged to maintain the highest levels of discipline as an indication of their understanding of the implications of their new ranks.
Commanding Officer of the Base, Captain Emmanuel Fingesi gave this charge on Friday, February 14, 2025 during the decoration of the promoted ratings in Bonny, Rivers State.

Represented by the Executive Officer of the Base, Captain Gerald Daloeng, the Commanding Officer congratulated the ratings on their promotion, urging them improve on their performance in their assigned roles.

He asserted that the Nigerian Navy will continue to demand the highest levels of discipline from its personnel, pointing out that this is key to the well-acclaimed exploits of the service.
The highpoint of the event included photography sessions with the Commanding Officer, who was represented by the Executive Officer, Navy Captain Gerald Daloeng, entertainment and refreshments.
