Youths of Ayama (Peterside) Community in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State have raised alarm over indiscriminate and suspicious rituals being performed in the community in the dead of night.
The youths disclosed this under the aegis of Greens House Youth Congress (GHYC) and Ayama Concerned Youths (ACY) via a statement on Sunday, September 1, 2024, in Bonny, Rivers State.
The statement was signed by the Deputy Youth Leader of both organisations, Solomon Green and made exclusively available to Kristina Reports in Bonny, Rivers State.
“We bring to the attention of the general public and relevant authorities a disturbing incident that occurred at midnight on Peterside Jetty, Bonny Island.”
“Unknown individuals made a blood sacrifice at the village jetty.”
“This is not an isolated incident, as similar sacrifices have been reported at other locations around Bonny Island.”
“We, the residents of Peterside, condemn these evil acts and demand swift action from the authorities to apprehend those responsible for desecrating our sacred spaces with blood sacrifices.”
The groups called on the security agencies to probe the activities and apprehend those responsible for the suspicious activities on their land.
“We urge the relevant authorities to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure the safety and security of our community.”
Ayama (Peterside) Community is the homestead of the Wilcox, Dublin-Green, Bluejack and other families in Bonny Kingdom in Rivers State.
