Actors Guild of Nigeria Promises Members Health Insurance Scheme

The Actors Guild Chairman pledges a free health insurance scheme for any member of the guild in Rivers State, who will be a part of the RIFF Empowers Initiative in the third edition of the Rivers International Film Festival.

This pledge took place in the monthly last Thursday general meeting which takes place at Jayqueen Hotel, Port Harcourt.

Dr Ken Osunwa, who just got inaugurated a few days ago as the Chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Rivers State Chapter, encourages practitioners to be hard working and diversify.

He referenced one of the AGN Rivers State Chapter members, Eunice Okeomah, who just finished her youth service and is already producing well packaged snacks despite been a very talented actor.

The Founder and Festival director of RIFF who was present at the Congress says this year youths will be taught how to make Shoes, Tablet Soap, Paint, Rivers Caps and Beads and many more.

The Actors Guild is one of the top partners of The Rivers International Film Festival since its inception.
