The Bishop of the Diocese of Okrika, Anglican Communion, Dr. Enoch Atuboyedia has extolled the Niger Delta Development Commission’s Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Chief Boma Iyaye, and his friends for their magnanimity towards God’s work.
Dr Atuboyedia gave this commendation on Monday, July 7, 2025 during foundation laying ceremony for the Parsonage of the Anglican Church of the Advent, Ogu Sandfill Missionary Parish in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The revered Bishop expressed his gratitude to the Almighty God for the immense growth witnessed by the Church, while describing Chief Iyaye as “a reliable partner”, commending him and his comrades for partnering with the body of Christ to actualize the ongoing project.
The cleric encouraged others to emulate Chief Iyaye’s noble gesture towards God’s work, noting that this was one of the ways mankind can please God and access His blessings, asserting that “the house of God must be built together”.

Bishop Atuboyedia called for unity, faith and sacrifice in building God’s edifice, observing that the parsonage will serve as a testament to growth and stability in the mission field.
The event brought together the clergy, parishioners, community leaders, and supporters in a spirit of thanksgiving and dedication.
The parsonage, when completed, will serve as the residence for the parish clergy and stand as a lasting symbol of growth and stability in the mission field.
