Nigerian music sensation Ayra Starr has revealed that she has never been in a serious relationship and is eager to experience love for the first time.
In a recent interview with Dazed Magazine, the “Sabi Girl” expressed her desire to fall in love, admitting that she has not been in any situationships either.

“I want to fall in love.”
“I wrote ‘Lagos Love Story’ about what love would look like if I was,” Ayra Starr shared.
While she considers herself a lover girl at heart, she confessed that she remains “very single.”
The singer emphasized that she has never been in a fully committed relationship.
“I’m just very strong-headed about it.”
“I actually have never been in love… I’ve been in certain situations – not situationships! – but I’ve never been in a fully committed relationship.”
Ayra Starr, whose rise to fame has kept her busy, attributed part of her singleness to her fast-paced career.
“I’ve put myself out there and tried to see what’s there, but I don’t think I’ve had the time – I’ve always been working.”
” I’ve been working since I was 15: I was modeling, I was doing university, and now I’m on the road,” she explained.
The singer also enjoys having fun with her male fans, often singing to them during performances.
“It’s me just enjoying myself as a girl.”
” I’m like, ‘Let me sing to a cute boy today’ and I’m looking around because I can, why not?” she said playfully.
Despite past speculations of a relationship with her colleague and friend Rema, Ayra Starr dismissed the rumors in a 2023 interview with Kiss FM, stating that she had never heard of such claims before.
“That’s my brother in Christ,” she clarified.
