Dan-Jumbo Felicitates LG Chairman, Abinye Pepple at 48; Hails Visionary Leadership, Says Bonny Is Rising Again

The Chief Executive Officer of The Gibs Hotel, Dr Fubara Dan-Jumbo has felicitated the Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Amasenibo Abinye Blessing Pepple, DSSRS, describing him as a leader whose intentional actions are setting Bonny on a new path of progress.

In a statement on Monday, December 9, 2025 he personally signed and made exclusively available to Kristina Reports, Dan-Jumbo said the Chairman’s pragmatic approach to governance was already producing measurable results across the LGA.

He said Abinye’s leadership had been marked by clarity of purpose, uncommon devotion and a steady commitment to the welfare of Bonny people.

“I celebrate Amasenibo Abinye Blessing Pepple for giving Bonny a new direction through sincerity, courage and deliberate planning,” he said.

He noted that the Chairman had taken strategic steps in mapping the maritime potentials around Bonny and positioning the area to benefit fully from the Blue Economy.

“The Chairman’s understanding of the maritime environment and his efforts to unlock its opportunities place Bonny ahead in sustainable development,” he said.

He referenced Abinye’s involvement in the recent opening of the Bonny–Bodo Road, describing it as a major symbol of his passion for the community.

He recalled the Chairman’s unprecedented visit to the minister of works where he pushed for continuous infrastructural attention to sustain the gains of the new road.

He also commended the Town Hall Meeting convened by the Chairman, noting that it demonstrated transparency, accessibility and a commitment to carrying the people along.

Dan-Jumbo highlighted the scholarship scheme that supported one thousand Bonny students in tertiary institutions with one hundred thousand naira each, totalling one hundred million naira.

He said the gesture was one of the clearest proofs of Abinye’s interest in the future of Bonny children.

“Only a leader who understands the pain of his people would invest one hundred million naira in the academic pursuit of one thousand students,” he said.

He commended Abinye for bringing vision, discipline and political understanding to bear on the administration of the LGA.

He called on him to continue prioritizing the interest of the people of Bonny as his leadership continued to shape the local economy.

He added that the Chairman’s recent actions had set Bonny on the path of economic expansion, community confidence and long-term prosperity.

He praised his loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his continued support for Chief Nyesom Wike, describing both as necessary for political stability and growth.

He prayed for more strength, wisdom and divine guidance for the Chairman as he continues to serve Bonny with dedication.
