Davido’s 5ive Hits 300 million Streams on Spotify

Global Afrobeats artist, David Adeleke whom we all know as Davido, has achieved a milestone with his 5th studio album, 5ive.

The album released on April 18, 2025 has gathered more than 300 million streams on Spotify.

As one of the major distribution platforms, getting past this number of streams on his album puts him ahead of his counterparts who have released albums this year as well.

It is noteworthy to mention that the album gathered 15 million streams within the first 24 hours of its release in April.

5ive, is currently the most streamed album of 2025 on Spotify.

This is the third time Davido has crossed this number of streams on the platform with his numbers.

In coming days, Davido is expecting a certified plaque from Spotify to mark this achievement.
