Nigerian influencer, Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis or Jadrolita, has threatened to drag her partner, Peller Okoye (real name Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja), to court for allegedly linking her to money laundering.

The controversy began after Peller made remarks during a TikTok livestream, where he claimed that some creators were using the platform’s gifting system as a means to launder money.

He reportedly implied that Jarvis was among those involved, a statement that immediately went viral and sparked outrage across social media.

Reacting to the claim, Jarvis, through her management company, Aiso Entertainment, issued an official statement on November 2, 2025, describing the allegation as false, malicious, and defamatory.

The management demanded that Peller retract his statement and issue a public apology within 48 hours, warning that failure to do so would lead to legal action.

According to the letter, Jarvis has never been involved in any illegal financial dealings and considers the allegation an attempt to tarnish her reputation.

“We find it disturbing that such baseless claims were made publicly, knowing the potential damage it could cause to our client’s image and business,” part of the statement read.

As of November 3, 2025, Peller had not publicly complied with the demand for an apology.

Both Jarvis and Peller are well-known figures in Nigeria’s influencer space, with a large following on TikTok and other platforms.

The incident has stirred conversations about the blurred line between personal relationships and public reputation in the fast-growing influencer marketing industry.

It also raises questions about how content creators handle the financial transparency of online earnings and the reputational risks that come with public accusations.
