Nigerian actress Jemima Osunde has revealed that she has been struggling with serious health issues due to food poisoning she contracted while working on a movie set.

The actress shared her experience on January 23, 2025, shedding light on how the incident has affected her for the past three years.

In a heartfelt post, Osunde disclosed that she contracted Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) from set food during a shoot in Ibadan, which led to chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

The actress expressed how the condition has impacted her health, stating, “My own stomach is my greatest op.”

“Actually, my entire GIT. SMH. I’ve never regretted anything the way I regret taking that job and going with them to Ibadan to shoot under their care..”

“Got h pylori from set food and the aftermath GERD has left me fighting for my life the last 3 years.”

“The past month has really been something. sigh.”

Osunde’s post has drawn an outpouring of support from fans and followers, many of whom shared their own similar health struggles.
