Ostrava Golden Spike Meet: Amusan Breezes Through Field, Grabs Second Hurdles Win of the Season

After finishing in very close second at the Paris Diamond League on June 20 with her second-ever fastest time of 12.24s, Tobi Amusan got back to winning ways, clearing the field in the Women’s 100m Hurdles at the Golden Spike meet in Ostrava, Czech Republic with a time of 12.45s.
Amusan who has steadily improved her times all year long, grabbed her second 100m Hurdles win of the season to crown her efforts. Her first win was at the Rabat Diamond League, where she clocked a Meeting Record (MR) and Season’s Best (SB) with the same time as her second win – 12.45s.


The 28-year-old was significantly ahead of her closest challengers: Viktória Foster, who finished second in 12.74 seconds, and Sarah Lavin, who came in third with a time of 12.76 seconds, both achieving season bests.
