Willie-Pepple House Set to Conclude Chieftaincy Process with Presentation of Head to Amanyanabo

In line with Ibani (Bonny/Opobo) customs and tradition, the Willie-Pepple Chieftaincy House (Inyeoku-Wari) of Grand Bonny Kingdom is set to complete the chief-making process with the presentation of its chief and head to the Amanyanabo and Natural Ruler of Bonny Kingdom.
The presentation ceremony, which sublimates the process will see His Majesty, King Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple III, CON, JP, DSSRS, Edward I, Perekule XI, as Amanyanabo-in-Council receive and induct Wari-Alabo Opuada Alaigoni Willie-Pepple, Inyeoku IX, into the Bonny Chiefs Council on Saturday, November 29, 2025 by 10am at the King Perekule Palace, Bonny, Rivers State.

Wari-Alabo Willie-Pepple, a legal luminary and senior partner of Pepple & Pepple Chambers, a law firm based in Port Harcourt, was a former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Port Harcourt Branch.
He was until his installation and capping as Chief and Head of the Willie-Pepple House, the Chairman of the Bonny Kingdom Local Content, Compliance and Monitoring Committee (BKLCCC).

Upon induction into the Bonny Chiefs Council, Chief Willie-Pepple will change titular appellation from Wari-Alabo (chief and head of house) to Se-Alabo (country chief) thus placing him in concert with his fellow country chiefs in supporting the Amanyanabo-in-Council with administration of the Kingdom.
Already, the various components of the Inyeoku-Wari (Willie-Pepple House) from the Wariopuseniapu to Wariseniapu, Ogbobiri Asawo, Inyeoku-Wari Ere, Asawo, and Ere-Awo are in top form to accompany their chief and head to the King Perekule Palace.
