Nigerian music sensation Asake has been crowned the best-selling artist in 2024, continuing his reign as Nigeria’s number-one artist for the third consecutive year.

The Grammy-nominated star secured the top spot on TurnTable’s annual end-of-year chart, outperforming all other artists across streaming platforms, TV, and radio.

This historic feat makes Asake the first artist to achieve such dominance for three years in a row.

Asake’s success in 2024 is highlighted by the remarkable performance of his third album, Lungu Boy.

Released in August, the album emerged as the best-selling album of the year, with its lead single “MMS” featuring Wizkid debuting at number one on the Official Nigeria Top 100 chart and spending three weeks at the top.

Additionally, Lungu Boy dominated the charts on platforms like Apple Music and Audiomack, while Asake also maintained his position as YouTube’s top artist for 2024.

All of Asake’s previous albums, Mr. Money With The Vibe (MMWTV) and Work Of Art, continued their streak of success, spending multiple weeks in the top ten of the Official Top 100 Albums chart.

The hitmaker also retained his title as Nigeria’s number-one radio artist for the second consecutive year, further cementing his unmatched influence in the music scene.
