Bonny Kingdom is beaming with pride as two of its finest talents, Entertainment big boy, Amasenibo Tonye Ibiama, and screen writer, actor, movie director and producer, Precious Emmanuel Allison, gain continental recognition for their inspiring indigenous feature film, “The Boy Who Gave”.
The film, a moving story deeply rooted in local culture and human values, was written and directed by Precious Emmanuel Allison sponsored by Grafton Entertainment and The MX14, in collaboration with Jawtown Entertainment.

“The Boy Who Gave: A Journey of Passion and Purpose” has now been officially selected to screen at the Africa Films For Impact Festival, one of the continent’s leading platforms that celebrate African stories promoting social change and positive transformation.
But that’s not all. “The Boy Who Gave” has also made its way into the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), the continent’s biggest and most respected film festival.
The selection places the Bonny Island made film among the top eight finalists competing for the festival’s highest honors.
Even more impressive, the film is one of only four Nigerian entries to reach the AFRIFF 2025 finals, a feat that underscores the quality, creativity, and authenticity of the story.

For the people of Bonny Kingdom, this recognition is more than a personal triumph for Ibiama and Allison. It is a moment of collective pride, a reminder that stories from the island’s soil can echo across the continent and beyond.
Bonny’s rich culture, artistry, and resilience continue to find global expression through visionary storytellers like these two, who have proven that excellence truly knows no boundaries.
As the film continues to make waves across Africa, “The Boy Who Gave” stands not just as a cinematic work, but as a symbol of inspiration, a story from Bonny now touching hearts around the world.
All said and done, “The Boy Who Gave” resonates for Bonny Kingdom and the Ibani nation as “a story from our land, inspiring the world”.
