We’re Giving Back to Schools That Made Us – EPF President

President of Ebi Progressives Forum (EPF), Warisenibo Hamilton Dublin-Green says those who have benefitted from institutions and society in general should give back in other to sustain the transgenerational trend of capacity building in our society.
The President said this on Friday September 26, 2025 when the Forum donated educational materials comprising branded exercise books, white marker boards, among others to selected primary schools in Bonny, Rivers State.

“We gave back to schools that had contributed to where some of us are today as separate individuals but now in one symbolic body – EPF.”
The schools include Bonny Government School, Boyle Memorial School and St. Michael’s State School, popularly known as CAC Primary School, all in Bonny Island.
The President, said the donations were part of activities lined up in its Back-To-School program, aimed at supporting children to further their educational aspirations.




“We are called Ebi Progressives Forum. We are young men of likeminds, with some of us haven’t passed through some of these schools. In our 2025 Blue Print debate, we agreed to embark this program as stated and captioned “Back To School” Program.
“This was how the initiative came birthed. We decided that the three old schools that are in kingdom – CAC (primary school), Boyle Memorial Primary School and Government Primary School.”
“We agreed to visit these schools and continue to support them, the pupil’s and the administrators past and present for what they gave to us in our time, and what they are still doing till date to our children, which is the reason for this initiative.
“We will like us to receive these things and see how it could be used to support the pupils. Those of them that are in primary 4, 5 and 6, these exercise books can be shared to them as part of our own support to their academic pursuits.
“We pray and hope that what we have done today would be something that can be reckoned with in the future.”
The Ebi Progressives Forum comprises of members who are indigenous to Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State, some of whom had their primary education in the beneficiary schools and have by consensus decided to reach out and give back to these schools.
